Super Rare collectable books from Levi's
When Levi’s Engineered Jeans were first released in 1999, the brand approached TANK to create a brand new publication. The result was MINED (DENIM spelled backwards).
The MINED issues were sewn-bound, the spine left exposed and the edges untrimmed – to read them, you had to cut open the pages. This binding slowed things down. It meant that each copy was unique, ripped and scuffed in its own way – a nod to Levi’s iconic cloth, designed to be worn in.
